I work with people who worry they are doing “too much.” Often, it’s too much drinking or using drugs, but it can also be “too muchness” in behaviors and thinking.
I am a clinical social worker whose specialty is substance abuse and mental health. I graduated from NYU with a MSW and earned a certificate as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State.
My approach to problem drinking utilizes the latest evidence-based research in addiction and motivational interviewing, a technique that enhances desire for change in someone who feels unsure that they can change.
